People’s Choice Award2025-05-07T12:04:15+00:00

Q: What is the People’s Choice Award?

The People’s Choice Award is a special category within the Irish Family Business Awards that recognizes the best family businesses in Ireland as voted by the public. It’s an opportunity for customers, clients, suppliers, and community members to show their support for their favorite family-run enterprises.

Q: How does the People’s Choice Award work?

All finalists in the main Irish Family Business Awards are automatically entered into the People’s Choice Award competition. The public can then vote for their favorite family business within their province (Leinster, Munster, Connacht, and Ulster).

Q: Does the People’s Choice Award influence the judging of the other award categories?

No, the People’s Choice Award is a completely separate competition with its own voting system. The outcome of the public vote does not impact the judging process or results of any of the other award categories. The industry judges make their decisions based on a different set of criteria.

Q: How can I vote for a business in the People’s Choice Award?

When the voting period is open, you can visit our website and find the voting form. You’ll be able to select your favorite family business from the list of finalists in your province.

Q: How can finalists encourage people to vote for them in the People’s Choice Award?

Finalists are encouraged to promote their participation in the People’s Choice Award to their clients, suppliers, employees, and community. Share the voting link on social media, through email, and on your website to rally support. The more votes you receive, the better your chances of winning the People’s Choice Award!

Q: What does winning the People’s Choice Award mean?

Winning the People’s Choice Award is a fantastic achievement that demonstrates strong customer loyalty and community support. It provides significant recognition and positive publicity for the winning family business.
